PATH400 in Progress

Construction on PATH400 is underway!  This page provides you with information about “Phase I,”  the segment of the PATH400 greenway opened in January,  as well as the segments currently under construction. For information on future phases, CLICK HERE.

First– Lenox Rd. to Old Ivy Rd.

The first completed section of PATH400 officially opened January 2015. This segment is .6 mile and extends from Lenox Road northward to Old Ivy Rd. The entrance to this segment is prominently marked by the BUCKHEAD wall (much better than a simple sign). It is already popular with the lunchtime walk crowd, as well as those who want a car-free option for shopping or heading to lunch. The Lenox entrance to PATH400  is near the Atlanta Tech Village, Piedmont Center, a number of hotels and restaurants, as well as the Disco Kroger shopping center.

Second – Old Ivy Rd. to Wieuca Rd.

The second section of PATH400 is under construction. This segment, about .5 miles, is expected to be complete in late 2016. This will be a great connection for North Buckhead, helping residents get from here to there “as the crow flies”  – avoiding stoplights and traffic.

Third – Sidney Marcus to Miami Circle

Construction on this segment is planned for early 2016. This segment extends between Miami Circle and Sidney Marcus Boulevard. It is expected to be completed in 2016. This segment will provide another link between community and commerce.

Fourth– Adina to Piedmont Road on Garson

This segment, located just south of the Miami Circle area has been completed and is now open. This segment will lead to the South Fork Conservancy’s Confluence Trail, heading to the Emory University community, and will be the link for the Beltline’s northern arc (once that project is complete).  This segment is expected to open in 2016.

Greystar

This segment of PATH400 is being developed as part of  Greystar’s redevelopment of the Elan Lindbergh Apartments, located on Morosogo. Construction is complete and is now open.
